Everything here is handmade. Using the techniques I’ve learned over the years and combining them with new methods, I continue to explore different avenues of expression; each piece is made from a spark that begins with connection. To see the techniques I use, please visit the About page.

Quality of Product – All pieces are created with your use in mind as well as the enjoyment of the eye. You can rest assured that all items are well-made. The sculptural forms are unique and innovative; canvas floorcloths are created in a wide variety of motifs, ranging from geometrical designs to incorporating a free-form painterly approach.

For commissions, I respond to specific requests and comply with customer preferences within the frame of reference of my approach and style in making artworks. Please contact me to discuss your project.

Sculpture

Portraying emotions, as expressed in the human form, is my primary interest. Whether they be in the form of bas-relief portraits, 3D busts or the effects of war, I strive to convey a variety of states of being.

My sculpture is very much driven by current events and world issues. The ‘Separation Series’, my most recent body of work, was inspired by hearing and reading about the stories of children – as young as infants – being separated from their parents.

Recently, I am also venturing into the realm of abstract art, using color and lines on ceramic tiles.

Handcrafted Canvas Floorcloths

Originally made by early pioneers, these types of painted canvas floorcloths were used as rugs. They can be made to any size, shape, and design and are sealed so that the surface can easily be washed. Floorcloths are ideal for use as doormats, hallway rugs, bedside rugs, or even larger area rugs.

The painted designs are unique, ranging from geometrical to free-form. Do you have an idea for a floor cloth? Contact me and let’s discuss it.
